Issues and Solutions

Anna has a proven track record of standing front and center to promote the rights and safety of those she represents.

When elected, she will continue her focus on doing what is right to protect your freedoms.

  • Pro-Business Policies

With Anna’s background in economics and business, she will give our district effective, pro-business policies and more support to our small businesses. Advocating against inflationary tax rates, Anna will work to reduce bureaucratic red tape and incentivize job creation and entrepreneurship to support our working middle class and businesses, thereby eliminating tax increases.

  • Safe & Strong Communities

A free nation and a strong economy cannot function without law and order. Anna supports public safety, the security of our community, and a transparent and accountable criminal justice system. She also advocates for policies that promote collaboration between law enforcement and local communities to bridge gaps that compromise our safety and security.

  • Defending Liberties in America and Abroad

Anna will ensure our legislators safeguard citizens’ constitutional rights and prevent government overreach to strengthen individual liberties. Freedom from censorship and religious freedom will be among her priorities.

She will also work to promote America’s principles abroad and stand up to adversaries who foster totalitarian regimes. She will not support endless military engagements that burden our taxpayers. Veterans and military families must be taken care of for their sacrifices to protect our safety and prosperity.

  • Education for Our Workforce

Quality education provides for the creation of a strong workforce. Anna supports freedom of school choice, parental rights, and the reduction of federal overreach in local education policy.

Schools should emphasize math and science so Americans can provide the workforce for our well-paying jobs in the construction and technology industries.

  • Community & Affordable Housing

Current affordable housing policy encourages permanent dependence on tax-subsidized housing. Drawing from her private market experience, Anna would create a Community Housing Initiative that enhances public-private cooperation with cost-effective housing solutions.

Rather than government-purchased hotels, which increases isolation at taxpayer expense, the Initiative would encourage the development of housing with shared bathrooms, adjoining units, and common areas for community living. Senior citizens and families can live together, thus enabling built-in child care, thereby contributing to each other’s welfare in a shared community.

  • Secure and Controlled Immigration

Anna supports immigration policies that safeguards legal immigration and protects taxpayers. As a sovereign nation, our borders must not be run by foreign nationals and must be secure.

Immigrants crossing the border need to demonstrate the ability to support themselves in our country and must not be an undue burden on our major cities or small communities. Anna will work to balance immigration regulations while protecting our American workforce.

  • Balanced Environmental Policies

Transitioning from a fossil fuel-based economy to a clean energy system should not be done on the backs of the working taxpayers, but rather through a plan of practical and market-based environmental policies. Energy independence should not be sacrificed by artificially increasing gas prices through tax hikes.

Anna believes climate change is best controlled by a gradual shift of demand by the public for clean energy. Instead of unrealistic mandates which add inflationary “solutions”, she supports initiatives to encourage innovation in clean energy technologies without stifling economic growth.

  • Market-Driven Healthcare Reforms

Anna would support a quality, market-driven healthcare system including policies that:

    1. Encourages competition among healthcare providers,

    2. Reduces bureaucratic mandates,

    3. Expands Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), and

    4. Allows cross-state insurance purchasing.

  • Infrastructure Investment with Fiscal Accountability

Infrastructure investments such as airports, roads, bridges, and dams are necessary for a thriving economy. Any other government implemented “investments” for social or climate reforms must be finite and justified by concrete evidence of a return on investment.

Government must be honest and accountable, and not use taxpayer dollars to curry political favors. In light of this, Anna would consider term limits for both elected officials and top officials of government agencies.

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.
